BIOGRAPHY
The Mexican actor and comedian Alejandro Suárez began in 1959 with a program called Chucherías , in which he participated with some other comedians, parodying some famous programs of the time. Along with his brother, Héctor Suárez, he was part of Casanova 66, a very similar program that was broadcast in 1966. On the big screen he was part of Romeo contra Julieta (1968) and ¡ Persíguelas y… reach them! (1969). It was during the 1970s that this comedian reached the highest point of his career, as he participated in popular Mexican productions, such as La carabina de Ambrosio (1978-1987). In more contemporary productions he was part of The Street of Bitterness (2015), directed by Arturo Ripstein, which competed at the Venice Film Festival. Recently, he collaborated again with Ripstein in The Devil Between the Legs (2019) alongside Silvia Pasquel, which was presented at the Morelia International Film Festival in 2019.
