Andy Whaley Obituary, Death – The Jackson County community has suffered a profound loss with the passing of Andy Whaley, who was not only a beloved father, son, brother, and husband but also a courageous firefighter and EMT. Andy’s unwavering commitment and selfless service to his community have left an indelible mark on those he touched.
His legacy will be remembered for the bravery he exhibited in the face of danger and his dedication to safeguarding the lives of others. Andy’s departure has left a void in the lives of his father, mother, brother, wife, and two young sons, as well as his fellow firefighters and EMTs, who stood by him in the firehouse like a second family.
Having had the opportunity to document Andy’s family life and his professional endeavors through photography, I have been privileged to witness the deep affection and mutual support that bound them together. Andy’s character and noble actions epitomize the essence of a true hero, one who is willing to sacrifice everything for the well-being of others.
In remembrance of Andy, a benefit event has been organized at Carpi’s Bar in Black River Falls on Saturday, November 11, beginning at 2 pm. To honor his memory and support his family, two full family photography sessions will be raffled off, alongside other specially curated baskets. Additionally, a fundraising initiative will collect direct contributions for Andy’s family. Those interested in contributing can reach out via the designated page for more information.
As a gesture of support, we are also conducting a drawing on our Facebook page, with each participation slot priced at $10, accepting both Venmo and cash. The proceeds from this drawing will be channeled directly to the Whaley family. The fortunate winner will be awarded a complete family photography session. Rest in peace, Andy. Your selfless spirit and dedication to the well-being of your community will forever be cherished and remembered.
