How To Cancel Starz Free Trial or Regular Account

Canceling Starz is pretty easy. As a subscriber, there are two ways you can cancel: the phone method and the online method. To cancel over the phone, call 1-888-223-7004 from 7 am to 10 pm ET, seven days a week, or visit to speak with an operator during business hours (Monday – Friday 8 am EST – 7 pm EST).

Online and on the phone, it will ask for your name and zip code to verify your account. Then you just go through some quick questions about why you’re canceling and whether you want any of their other services (which we don’t recommend). After that point in time, you’ll be given a confirmation number for your cancellation and they’ll make the changes to your account.

How much does Starz cost?

Starz has two tiers of pricing: their $8.99 standalone plan (no cable required) and an add-on with most major cable providers. Prices vary based on which package you choose, but as of July 2018, here are the monthly charges if you’re adding on Starz to an internet or TV plan through Comcast, DirecTV, Spectrum, or AT&T :

Comcast – Xfinity: Starz channel is included in TV Select or above packages; $9.99 per month plus any applicable taxes

DirecTV – Choice package or above; $10.99 per month plus any applicable taxes Spectrum – Starz is an upgrade; $9.95 per month plus any applicable taxesAT&T U-verse – Starz channel is included in Preferred Plus or above packages; $10.00 per month plus any applicable taxes

How can I watch the Starz live stream?

You can watch Starz on a number of devices, including Chromecast and Amazon Fire TV Stick (or Box), smart televisions from Hisense, LG, Panasonic, Samsung, and Sony, and video game consoles like the PS4 and Xbox One. You’ll also be able to access it through your laptop or desktop computer via the Sling TV website, and you can watch it on mobile devices via the Starz app.

Starz also has a pretty robust selection of apps for smart TV platforms like Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire Stick, and Android TV. So no matter which platform you’re using, you should be covered! It’s also available on Apple TV and Roku streaming boxes as well as other set-top boxes like TiVo.

How to Cancel Starz Subscription

Can I use my AT&T or Spectrum login info?

Yes and no — with some limitations. If you’re an existing AT&T U-verse or DirecTV customer, your login information will work. But if you’re a new customer with Spectrum or AT&T, you can’t use your existing info to sign up for the streaming version of Starz.

Since they don’t have an existing history of billing together, Spectrum and AT&T customers must create a new login for the Starz app and website using their email addresses.

Of course, there’s nothing saying that once you cancel for one service that you won’t immediately subscribe to it through another provider down the road! It’s worth noting that having multiple subscriptions to different providers allows you to combine all your services into Apple TV or Amazon Fire Stick, so no matter where you watch most of your content (say DirecTV or AT&T) you can watch the live stream of Starz through that as well. This is kind of like having multiple cable boxes, except it doesn’t cost anything extra!

What are the best shows on Starz?

If you use Sling TV or another streaming service to get your Starz fix, then this section won’t be useful for much longer. But if you’re a cord-cutter still looking to watch some classics — who wants to pay extra? — then keep reading! Here are five must-see movies and shows from Starz:

American Gods: With one foot planted firmly in fantasy and the other in urban legend, this supernatural drama based on Neil Gaiman’s book by the same name follows an ex-con on an epic journey into various worlds as he attempts to reconcile with his past lover. Starz calls it “a weird wild ride,” so you might want to take them at their word!

The White Princess: A spinoff of The White Queen, which was itself a follow up to the hit series The White Queen, this show is based on Philippa Gregory’s novel of the same name. Centered around the Yorkist family and their rivalries following the War of the Roses, it offers a compelling look into what happens when a kingdom is divided between two families.

Outlander: This one’s right up there with Game of Thrones in terms of nudity, sex, and violence — but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t watch! It follows Claire Randall, a former WWII combat nurse who finds herself mysteriously transported back to 1743 Scotland where she encounters both love and danger. Fans say Outlander has everything: drama, romance, and plenty of action-packed moments that are sure to keep you watching week after week.

Black Sails: A prequel to Robert Louis Stevenson’s Treasure Island, this pirate-themed drama follows the early days of Captain Flint and his motley crew as they plot their next big heist. But the series isn’t just about loot — it’s also a look at what happens when a band of rogues is forced to set aside their roguish ways in order to survive.

Outlander: This time-traveling romance based on Diana Gabaldon’s book of the same name is pretty much unlike anything you’ve ever seen before. It centers around Claire Randall, an English combat nurse who accidentally finds herself traveling through Scottish history and falling in love with a Highland warrior named Jamie Fraser. Yes, it sounds like a mashup of Doctor Who and Twilight, but it’s also a great romp through history!

Star Wars: Clone Wars : It wouldn’t be a proper list without Star Wars somewhere in it, right? This animated adventure takes place between Episode II and Episode III , and follows Anakin Skywalker as he tries to save fellow Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi — along with all of their other friends!
