Spencer Jordan Obituary, Death – A 59-year-old man from New Paris, Ohio, named Claude “Spencer” Jordan, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, October 16, 2023. He came into this world in Darke County, Ohio, on August 8, 1964, to parents Cecil Elwood “Woody” and Phyllis G. (Spencer) Jordan, who both passed away before he was born. In Preble County, Spencer worked as a construction contractor on his own.

He founded Hope Ranch’s Hideaway Trails and was an elder at Eaton Community Church. An early miscarriage precedes the demise of the mother. “Jamie” Jordan, the baby; Brantley Isaiah Hammer, the grandson, expected in 2020. Shelly (Barnes) Jordan, his wife of 36 years, and their children Tony and Ciara Baker, Brandon and Tiffany Hammer, and Carson and Shania Spitler, are his surviving relatives.

The following grandkids: Paisley, Braylee Hammer, Addie, Emberly, and Everly Baker; Myla Spitler. Paula, Archie, and Sharon Gallaher are sisters. Jim (Karla) Barnes, Jr., a brother-in-law, and Louise Barnes, an aunt and uncle, are the Barnes family. Sister-In-Law: Tina (Davy) Gabbard; several Nieces and Nephews. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service for the family on Friday, October 20, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Eaton Community Church, 813 Camden Road, Eaton, Ohio.

Dr. Dan Denlinger will officiate a Celebration of Life Service at the church on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton, Ohio, will be the site of the interment. Eaton, Ohio’s Barnes Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
